Priorities

The issues residents feel — every day.

This page states the campaign’s public direction. Specific commitments will be added only after they are approved and ready for public scrutiny.

Publishing standard: High-level direction is public now. Specific commitments will move from “in development” to “released” only after campaign approval, costing and compliance review.

How future priority pages will work

Each formal release should give residents enough information to assess the proposal without presenting unapproved ideas as commitments. The site will distinguish between announced policy, work in development and questions that still require consultation.

Template for every future priority page

  1. The resident experience: the problem in plain language.
  2. The outcome: what should become better.
  3. The direction: approved high-level action.
  4. What is still being tested: open questions and dependencies.
  5. Cost and authority: who controls what and how it could be funded.
  6. Accessibility, equity and privacy: who may face barriers or risks.
  7. Status: announced, under review or coming later.
  8. Next step: read, attend, volunteer, share feedback or donate.
