Use land better
Make better use of underused land and support appropriate density with infrastructure.
Coordinate growth
Housing, water, power, transit, schools, parks and services must move together.
Modern construction
Encourage modular, prefabricated and robotic construction where it can safely reduce cost or construction time.
Work with other governments
Coordinate constructively with Ontario and Canada instead of allowing jurisdictional disputes to become excuses for delay.
Technology Should Shorten the Line
Routine work should not stall because information is scattered.
AI and modern computing can help City staff review applications, identify missing information, find conflicts earlier, compare requirements, coordinate departments and track recurring bottlenecks.
People remain responsible for approvals. Technology helps them accomplish the work faster.
Improve the Housing We Already Have

Building new housing does not mean ignoring existing residents.
