Priority 4 · Transit That Connects Us

Give people more of their lives back.

Toronto needs reliable daily transportation, accessible stations and better regional connections. The purpose of intelligent transportation is not efficiency for a spreadsheet — it is easier, faster and more dignified journeys.

A Toronto streetcar, bike lane and accessible city street

Reliable TTC service

Improve reliability, passenger information, disruption response and connections between routes.

Human-centred transfers

Treat walking distance, vertical travel, elevator dependence, wayfinding and physical effort as real costs.

Regional integration

Coordinate the TTC with GO Transit, local systems, Union Station, Pearson and station-area housing.

Connected Canadian Corridor

Prepare Toronto for Alto and champion the proposed next phase west through Waterloo Region, London, Chatham-Kent and Windsor.

Modern electric rail connecting Toronto to a larger region
Toronto: the heart of the connected region

Alto is the heart — not the endpoint.

Proposed westward extension

Toronto Union → Pearson/West GTA → Cambridge–Waterloo Gateway → London → Chatham-Kent Parkway → Windsor

Official Alto network under development

Toronto → Peterborough → Ottawa → Montréal → Laval → Trois-Rivières → Québec City

High-speed rail is transportation, housing, labour, education, culture, manufacturing, climate and nation-building policy.

Build the campaign

Help connect Toronto locally, regionally and nationally.
